Bihar Election: The campaign for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 has now gained full momentum. As soon as the Chhath Mahaparv concluded, both major political blocs – NDA and Mahagathbandhan – have entered the electoral arena. Starting today, October 29, a series of election rallies and public meetings has commenced. From the NDA side, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are addressing the public in various districts of Bihar. Meanwhile, from the Mahagathbandhan side, Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav are campaigning together on one platform in support of alliance candidates.

NDA's Campaign Today

The NDA has thrown its full weight behind the Bihar elections. Major leaders from Delhi to UP are present in Bihar today for campaigning. Union Home Minister Amit Shah today addressed the public in Alinagar for Maithili Thakur. At 12:15 PM, he held an election meeting in Alinagar, Darbhanga, followed by rallies at 1:30 PM in Rosera, Samastipur, and at 3:00 PM in Bhagwanpur, Begusarai.

CM Nitish Kumar will conduct roadshows today in four assembly constituencies of Nalanda district and will also hold a rally in Harnaut. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will hold a public meeting today in Hayaghat, Darbhanga, followed by election programs in Barh and Chhapra. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's focus today is on Siwan and Buxar, where he will hold meetings at both locations. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is scheduled to hold rallies in Muzaffarpur and Patna Sahib. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has been assigned the responsibility of today's rallies in Banka, Bhagalpur, and Madhepura.

Mahagathbandhan's Preparation

The Mahagathbandhan is also preparing to pose a b challenge to the NDA in the electoral arena. From the Mahagathbandhan side, Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav are participating in rallies together today. Both leaders will campaign from Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga in support of Mahagathbandhan candidates. During this, an effort will be made to showcase the unity of the Mahagathbandhan.

Tejashwi Yadav will support his candidates today through continuous rallies in six assembly constituencies of Chhapra. Additionally, Congress star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi will begin election campaigning in various districts of Bihar from November 1. Priyanka Gandhi will hold public meetings in Bachhwara, Begusarai, on November 3 in Lakhisarai and Rosera (Samastipur), and on November 6 in Govindganj and Chanpatia (East Champaran). Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will hold rallies on October 31 in Kuchaikote (Gopalganj), on November 3 in Amarpur (Banka), and on November 5 in Kutumba (Aurangabad).
