The Bihar Food and Consumer Protection Department has started the recruitment process for 259 posts in the Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited. The recruitment includes positions such as Assistant Manager, Assistant Accounts Officer, Accountant, Quality Controller and Lower Division Clerk. Under Bihar BSFC Recruitment 2026, a total of 259 candidates will be recruited for various posts. The vacancies include 81 Assistant Manager posts, 6 Assistant Accounts Officer posts, 11 Accountant posts, 38 Quality Controller posts and 123 Lower Division Clerk posts.
Candidates must complete the online application within the prescribed deadline. The last date for submitting applications is September 24, 2026. Candidates will also be provided an opportunity to make corrections to their application forms from September 26 to September 29, 2026.
Candidates applying for these posts must have completed graduation from a recognised institution or university. They must also fulfil the other eligibility conditions prescribed for the respective posts.
The age of candidates will be calculated as of January 1, 2026. The minimum age for applying is 21 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive relaxation in the maximum age limit according to government rules.
The maximum age limit is 37 years for unreserved male candidates. For candidates belonging to the backward class and unreserved female category, the maximum age limit is 40 years. For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories, the maximum age limit is 42 years.
