Bihar Election: Just before the assembly elections, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken a major step to give a new direction to the industrial development of the state. He has announced the implementation of the Bihar Industrial Package 2025 (BIPP-2025). Its objective is not only to promote industries but also to create large-scale employment for the youth of the state.
1 crore youth will get employment
The government aims to provide employment opportunities to more than 1 crore youth in the next five years through this package. This step is considered very important in the direction of making Bihar an industrial hub.
Key Features of the Industrial Package
Under this package, industries will be given subsidies on interest for investment. This will promote both large and small industries in the state. Along with this, it will help in setting up new factories and equipping old industries with modern technology.
Nitish Kumar's Message
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in a social media post, informed that the aim of his government is not only to promote industries but also to provide better employment opportunities for local youth.
Migration will be curbed
The number of youth going from Bihar to other states in search of employment is quite high. The government claims that this package will also curb the problem of migration because employment opportunities will now be available in the state itself.
Investors will get these facilities
Under BIPP-2025, the government will give various attractive subsidies and incentive schemes to investors. These will include interest subsidies along with several reliefs related to electricity, water, and infrastructure.
New Employment Opportunities
The government believes that the arrival of new industries will not only increase employment opportunities but also create opportunities for skill development at the local level. This will provide better training to the youth and also increase their employability.
