Bipin Joshi Death: Peace talks between Israel and Hamas are underway, led by US President Trump. During these talks, Hamas released 20 Israeli hostages, but Nepali Hindu student Bipin Joshi was not among them. Tragically, Hamas killed Bipin. Nepal's ambassador to Israel confirmed this, stating that Bipin's body has been handed over to the Israeli army.

Who is Bipin Joshi

Bipin Joshi was from a small village in Nepal and went to Israel in September 2023 with 16 other students. All students had arrived at Kibbutz Alumim near the Gaza border for agriculture studies. During this time, Hamas attacked Israel and took Bipin hostage. Bipin was the only Hindu in this group.

Bravery during Hamas Attack

On October 7, 2025, when Hamas began bombing southern Israel, all the students hid in a bunker. Hamas fighters threw 2 grenades into the bunker. The first one exploded, injuring several students. Bipin, showing immense bravery, picked up the second grenade and threw it outside, saving the lives of many students. After this, he was taken hostage and transported to Gaza.

Body Handed Over to Israeli Army

The Israeli army released a video from Gaza showing Bipin being dragged and taken to a hospital. After this, his whereabouts remained unknown. Hamas handed over the bodies of a total of 4 hostages to the Israeli army. Bipin's body will undergo DNA testing under the supervision of Nepali officials, and his last rites will be performed in Israel.
