The BJP will conduct a Tiranga Yatra across the country from August 10th to 14th. During this period, tributes will be paid to freedom fighters, the success of Operation Sindoor will be promoted, and a silent march will be organized on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day.
Tiranga Yatra: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is once again set to conduct a Tiranga Yatra across the country. This yatra will be organized in every Mandal from August 10th to 14th, aiming to enhance the spirit of patriotism and communicate the achievements of Operation Sindoor to the general public.
Objective of the Yatra
The main focus of this BJP campaign is to further strengthen the feeling of nationalism among the citizens. Additionally, during this yatra, the party will widely disseminate the speeches given in Parliament by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other senior leaders.
Celebrating Operation Sindoor
This yatra will be similar to the Tiranga Yatra previously organized by the BJP from May 13th to May 23rd, which was conducted to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor. Now, after a 16-hour long discussion on this campaign in the Lok Sabha, it is being presented as a new phase.
Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign
Under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, which will run from August 13th to 15th, every citizen and establishment will be encouraged to hoist the national flag. The aim is to ensure that Independence Day is not just a government formality, but a celebration with the participation of the common people.
Cleanliness Drive at Monuments
During this yatra, the BJP will also conduct cleanliness drives at places related to the freedom struggle, war memorials, and national monuments. This will not only increase awareness about cleanliness but also highlight the historical significance of these sites.
Honoring the Army and Martyrs
To honor the role of the defence forces, the service and sacrifice of Indian soldiers will be highlighted during the yatra. Indigenous defence equipment will be displayed through posters, exhibitions, and dialogues, and the country's military strength will be showcased to the public. Families of martyrs, war heroes, and police officers will also be formally honored.
Visiting Border Checkpoints
As part of the campaign, the BJP will also organize programs at border area checkpoints, where soldiers will be formally honored for their dedication and service to the nation. This step will be specifically for those who protect the country by being stationed at the border.
Partition Horrors Remembrance Day
On August 14th, the BJP will also observe Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. On this day, a silent march will be conducted across the country, paying tribute to the millions of people who suffered during the partition of India. This march will be led by local workers and leaders in various parts of the country.
To conduct this comprehensive campaign, a coordinator and a committee of three members will be formed in each state to coordinate all aspects of the yatra. At the national level, BJP National General Secretary Sunil Bansal has been appointed as the chief coordinator of the campaign.
