The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the examination schedule for the Auditor Recruitment Examination 2026. The examination will be conducted on July 5 in a single shift. A total of 102 posts will be filled through the recruitment process. The commission will soon issue admit cards, which candidates will be able to download from the official website.
The BPSC Auditor Recruitment Examination 2026 will be held on July 5. The examination will take place in a single shift from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. According to the schedule released by the commission, the examination will be conducted at designated centres.
Candidates appearing for the examination have been advised to complete their preparations in time and keep checking the official website for updates regarding the BPSC Auditor Exam Date 2026. Admit cards will be issued a few days before the examination and will contain details of the examination centre and other important instructions.
The Auditor Recruitment Examination will assess candidates through three subjects: General Hindi, General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II. The General Hindi paper will carry 100 marks, while both General Studies papers will carry 300 marks each.
Candidates will be required to answer questions carefully, as the examination will include a negative marking provision. One-third of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Candidates have been advised to attempt only those questions for which they are fully confident of the answers.
The recruitment process will not be limited to the written examination. Candidates declared successful in the written examination will be called for the next stage, the interview.
The interview will carry 120 marks. Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the written examination and the interview.
Experts believe that candidates should prepare for personality development and current affairs in addition to the written examination to perform better in the interview.
A total of 102 vacant Auditor posts will be filled through the recruitment drive. Separate vacancies have been earmarked for various reserved and unreserved categories. The General category has the highest number of vacancies at 58. Posts have also been reserved for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Extremely Backward Class (EBC), Backward Class (BC), Backward Class Women, Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
Selected candidates will receive a basic monthly salary of Rs 20,200 as per the prescribed pay scale. The commission has advised candidates to regularly visit the official website for admit cards and the latest examination-related updates.
