Bhiwani Teacher Case: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will now investigate the death case of Manisha, a teacher from the Dhigawa Mandi area. Following Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's announcement, the CBI has contacted the family and assured them of commencing the investigation shortly. During the preliminary investigation of this case, the police had initially registered a missing person report, and subsequently added charges of murder.
Manisha's body underwent post-mortem three times, and several individuals were questioned. Father Sanjay mentioned that he received a call from CBI officials who stated they would arrive by Monday. He added that any revelations would now only come after the CBI investigation.
Fresh FIR to be registered after CBI's arrival
Manisha had left home on August 11 to teach at a playschool but did not return. A missing person report was filed by the police on August 12, and after the discovery of her body on August 13, a murder case was also registered. With this case now in the hands of the CBI, a fresh FIR might be registered, allowing for a deeper examination of the case and a more accurate ascertainment of facts.
Three Post-mortems and Forensic Examination
Manisha's body was subjected to post-mortem three times. The first was conducted at Bhiwani Civil Hospital, the second at Rohtak PGI, and the third at AIIMS, Delhi. Certain excerpts from the Bhiwani and PGI reports were shared with the media, while the AIIMS report has not yet been made public. Additionally, the police had sent 10 viscera samples from the body to the Madhuban Forensic Lab, the reports of which will also be submitted to the CBI. All these investigative details will be crucial for the CBI's comprehensive inquiry.
Preliminary Investigation of the Case
So far, those questioned include the playschool staff and management, the child with whom Manisha had a chat, the fertilizer and seed seller from whom Manisha purchased 'Mono Spray', nursing college staff, and the two individuals who first discovered the body. The school bus driver has also been questioned. The CBI's investigation will delve deeper into these aspects and help uncover the truth for the family.
