CBSE Opens Class 12 Re-Evaluation Application Process for Students With Scanned Answer Sheets

CBSE has start scanned answer sheets. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official process, pay the prescribed fee, and request re-checking of specific answers or questions, with revised results to be issued if marks change after review.

CBSE has opened the re-evaluation application process for Class 12 students who had previously applied to obtain scanned copies of their answer sheets. Eligible students can apply online through the official website by paying the prescribed fee and request a re-check of their answer scripts.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the re-evaluation application process for Class 12 students. Students who had earlier applied to receive scanned answer sheets are now eligible to seek re-evaluation of their answer books through the board’s official website.

Students can complete the online application process through the official CBSE website after paying the prescribed fee. The board has advised candidates to download the marking scheme for the relevant subject before submitting an application. This allows students to compare their answer scripts and assess whether the evaluation of any question has been carried out correctly.

If marks for any question appear to have been omitted, the evaluation is found to be incomplete, or any discrepancy in assessment is identified, students may clearly specify the issue during the re-evaluation application process to enable a fresh review of the concerned response.

Students seeking re-evaluation are required to visit the official CBSE website and click on the Re-Evaluation link available on the homepage.

  • Select the re-evaluation option.

  • Fill in the required details and choose the relevant questions.

  • Pay the prescribed fee online.

  • Download or print the submitted application copy and keep it for future reference.

CBSE has prescribed separate fees for different services. Students applying for marks verification are required to pay Rs 100. For re-checking of a specific answer or question, a fee of Rs 25 per question has been fixed.

The board has advised students to carefully review their scanned answer sheets and the marking scheme before applying so that requests are submitted only for questions where re-evaluation is required.

If any change in marks is identified during the re-evaluation process, revised results will be officially issued by the board. Eligible students have been advised to complete the application process within the prescribed timeline and retain all required documents safely.
