CBSE Releases Admit Cards for 10th and 12th Supplementary Exams 2025

CBSE has released the admit cards for the 10th and 12th supplementary exams 2025. The examinations will commence from July 15th, with the 10th-grade exams running until July 22nd, while the 12th-grade exams will be held only on July 15th.

Supplementary Admit Card: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued admit cards for students of classes 10th and 12th before the supplementary examinations. Students who have applied for the compartment exams 2025 can now download their admit cards from the official website, cbse.gov.in, or with the assistance of their respective schools.

The supplementary exams are conducted for students who failed in one or more subjects in the main examination or wish to improve their scores. This exam provides students with another opportunity to prevent the academic year from being compromised.

CBSE Compartment Exam 2025: Datesheet Released

CBSE had previously released the exam datesheet. According to the datesheet:

  • The supplementary exam for all subjects of class 12th will be held on July 15, 2025, on the same day.
  • Compartment exams for class 10th will be conducted between July 15th and July 22nd, 2025.

The examination will be held in a single shift. However, the duration will vary for different subjects:

  • Some question papers will have a time of 2 hours, while others are allotted 3 hours.
  • The examination duration will generally be from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM or from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

How to Download the Admit Card?

CBSE has made the admit cards for the supplementary exams available online. Private candidates (students not affiliated with a school) can download them themselves. Other students can obtain their admit cards by contacting their schools.

  1. First, visit the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.
  2. Click on the 'Pariksha Sangam' section.
  3. Go to the School/Exam Activity link.
  4. Now, click on the Admit Card for Supplementary Exam 2025 link.
  5. Enter the User ID, Password, and Security Pin to log in.
  6. After logging in, the admit card will appear on the screen, which can be downloaded and printed.

Students are advised to carefully check the details on the admit card, such as name, roll number, subjects, examination center, time, etc. In case of any errors, immediately contact their school or the relevant board authorities.

Important Points to Remember at the Exam Center

CBSE has issued strict guidelines to make the examination fair and transparent:

  • Carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or any type of electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited.
  • CCTV cameras and voice recorders will be active in the examination center.
  • Candidates must arrive at the examination center at least 45 minutes before the start of the exam.
  • External individuals (parents, relatives, etc.) will not be allowed to enter the examination center.
  • Instructions have been given to the center administration to make special arrangements to avoid crowding at the entrance.

Instructions for School Administration

CBSE has instructed school principals to download the admit cards of registered students from the board's website, sign them, and hand them over to the students in a timely manner. It will be the responsibility of the school administration to ensure that all students receive their admit cards on time.

  • It is mandatory to bring the admit card to the examination hall.
  • Also, keep a valid photo ID card with the admit card.
  • Give the final touch to the exam preparations and prioritize the subjects according to the time table.
