Chandra Shekhar Aazad Faces Allegations of Sexual Exploitation and Threats, PhD Scholar Seeks Justice

Chandra Shekhar Aazad, Member of Parliament from the Nagina Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh and head of the Azad Samaj Party (Kanshiram), has once again been embroiled in controversy. PhD scholar Dr. Rohini Ghawari has leveled serious allegations against him.

New Delhi: Chandra Shekhar Aazad, the national president of the Azad Samaj Party (Kanshiram) and MP from Nagina, is once again embroiled in controversy. PhD scholar Dr. Rohini Ghawari has made serious allegations against him, writing a direct letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking justice. In the letter, Rohini wrote in very emotional words, "I have always tried to enhance the respect of the country as a daughter of India, but now it is a fight for my self-respect."

Dr. Rohini Ghawari said in her letter that she had already sent her complaint to the National Commission for Women and the Delhi Police Commissioner, but no concrete action had been taken so far. She says that this entire incident has ruined her life and the self-proclaimed guardians of society are engaged in insulting a woman, while no concrete steps have been taken against the accused.

'Why isn't the guilty punished?'

In the letter to PM Modi, Rohini questioned why there are no words or punishments for a guilty man in society, but a woman is labeled with derogatory words like "concubine" and "prostitute." She wrote: I was in fear, depression, and despair for a long time, but now I have gathered enough courage to fight for justice and self-respect. This is not just my fight, but the fight of crores of women. Rohini appealed to the Prime Minister in the letter to grant her justice so that other women can also gather the courage to stand up for their rights.

Dr. Rohini Ghawari has made several serious allegations against Chandra Shekhar Aazad. She said that Chandra Shekhar had physical relations with her without her consent, made false promises of marriage, and threatened to kill her when she protested. Moreover, Rohini alleges that she was also mentally harassed by threatening to post private photos and videos on social media.

Due to these serious allegations, Rohini filed complaints with the Delhi Police, the National Commission for Women, and other legal institutions, but after the matter did not move forward, she sent a letter to PM Modi.

Political stir intensifies

This matter has also caused a stir in political circles. Chandra Shekhar Aazad is known as a b Dalit leader in Uttar Pradesh and is constantly active regarding the upcoming assembly elections. In such a situation, the allegations of sexual exploitation and threats against him can certainly deal a severe blow to his political image.

According to experts, if a fair investigation is conducted in the matter, it can become an example of strengthening the voice of women in the country. It also raises the question of why mechanisms like the Women's Commission and the police take such slow action in such sensitive cases.

Victim's emotional message

In the letter, Rohini Ghawari wrote, "Prime Minister, I have full faith that the law of our country can deliver justice to every daughter. Please give me justice so that many girls like me can get confidence." As soon as her letter came out on social media, many women's rights organizations also started raising their voices in support.
