Western Railway Introduces Special Chhath Puja Trains from Ratlam Division to Samastipur

On the occasion of Chhath Puja, Western Railway has introduced two pairs of special trains from Ratlam Division to Samastipur. The trains will run from October 23 to 27 and will stop at Dahod, Ratlam, Ujjain, and Maksi in Madhya Pradesh.

Ratlam: There's good news for passengers traveling from Madhya Pradesh to Bihar for the Chhath Mahaparv. Western Railway's Ratlam Division has announced the operation of two pairs of unreserved special trains, keeping in mind the passenger rush during the festival. These trains will run between Ankleshwar-Samastipur and Udhna-Samastipur.

The railway stated that these trains will operate on special fares to benefit as many passengers as possible. Both trains will stop at Dahod, Ratlam, Ujjain, and Maksi stations in Madhya Pradesh.

Special Train Starts from Ankleshwar to Samastipur

Train No. 09157/09158 Ankleshwar-Samastipur-Ankleshwar unreserved special train will depart from Ankleshwar at 3:40 PM on October 23 and 24, and will reach Samastipur at 5:30 AM on the third day.

Within the Ratlam Division, this train will stop at Dahod (7:05-7:07 PM), Ratlam (9:05-9:15 PM), Ujjain (11:40-11:45 PM), and Maksi (12:30-12:32 AM). The return journey (Train No. 09158) will commence from Samastipur at 8:30 AM on October 25 and 26, reaching Ankleshwar at 2:30 AM on the third day.

Stations the Train Will Pass Through

Apart from Madhya Pradesh, the Ankleshwar-Samastipur special train will pass through major stations in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. This train will stop at key stations such as Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Ujjain, Maksi, Bina, Sagar, Damoh, Katni Murwara, Satna, Prayagraj Chhivki, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur, and Muzaffarpur.

Railway officials stated that this route will be extremely convenient, especially for passengers traveling to Bihar to celebrate Chhath Puja.

Second Special Train: Relief Service from Udhna to Samastipur

Train No. 09001/09002 Udhna-Samastipur-Udhna special train is also being operated for the convenience of passengers during the festival. Train No. 09001 will depart from Udhna daily at 9:00 AM and reach Samastipur at 10:35 PM on the second day. This train will stop in MP at Dahod (2:05-2:07 PM), Ratlam (4:05-4:15 PM), Ujjain (6:40-6:45 PM), and Maksi (7:30-7:32 PM).

Meanwhile, Train No. 09002 Samastipur-Udhna Special will run daily from October 24 to 27, departing from Samastipur at 2:15 AM and arriving at Udhna at 3:35 PM on the second day.

The railway has advised passengers to check the updated schedule of their train on the Indian Railways website www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in before traveling. There will be no seat reservation facility on these special trains, but the railway has planned to add sufficient coaches to ensure passengers do not face overcrowding.
