Chhattisgarh CM Invites PM Modi to Amrit Rajat Mahotsav, Shares State Development Plans

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to be the chief guest at the Amrit Rajat Mahotsav to be held in Raipur on November 1st. State development plans were also shared on this occasion.

Amrit Silver Festival: On August 1st, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament House. During this formal meeting, the Chief Minister invited the Prime Minister to attend the 'Amrit Rajat Mahotsav' as the chief guest, which is to be held in Raipur on November 1, 2025. This event will be celebrated on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the formation of the state of Chhattisgarh.

Describing the meeting with the Prime Minister as historic, Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is viewing this event as a symbol of Chhattisgarh's development journey. He said that the Prime Minister's presence will not only enhance the dignity of the ceremony, but will also provide pride and inspiration to the citizens of the state.

'Anjor Vision @2047': Chhattisgarh's Long-Term Development Model

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also apprised the Prime Minister about the state's long-term policy "Anjor Vision @2047". This policy is an effort to connect the development of Chhattisgarh with the Government of India's national mission "Developed India". This vision document outlines structural reforms for the state in key areas such as health, education, industry, innovation, and environment.

The aim of this plan is to develop Chhattisgarh as an inclusive, sustainable, and self-reliant state that prioritizes transparency and citizen participation in policy-making and administration.

Jan Vishwas Bill 2025: A Major Step Towards Transparency

Chief Minister Sai also informed the Prime Minister that the Chhattisgarh government, inspired by the central government's "Jan Vishwas Act 2023," has passed the "Jan Vishwas Bill 2025" at the state level. The objective of this bill is to bring transparency in governance, strengthen administrative accountability, and provide quick and accessible justice to citizens.

This initiative reflects the Chhattisgarh government's commitment to good governance and indicates that the state government is working in line with the central government's developmental policies.

Nava Raipur is Being Developed into a Smart and High-Tech City

The Chief Minister also informed the Prime Minister about the development of Nava Raipur. He said that the state government is developing Nava Raipur as a modern urban center and administrative capital. For this, the Capital Region Development Authority has been constituted.

Under the Smart City scheme, priority is being given to infrastructure, transport network, digital services, and green spaces in this area. The government aims to make it a model city, which presents an example of balanced development from a social, economic, and environmental perspective.

Investment and Industrial Development Gain New Momentum

Chief Minister Sai also shared that the state government has received investment proposals worth a total of Rs 6.65 lakh crore from November 2024 to July 2025. These proposals involve the participation of 84 companies.

He specifically mentioned India's first semiconductor unit and the proposed AI data center in Nava Raipur, which were described as carriers of future technology and new employment opportunities.

Along with this, a single window system has been started in the state under the new Industrial Policy 2024-30, which has simplified procedures for investors and special incentives are being given to high-employment industries.
