Chirag Paswan Calls for End to Caste Politics in Bihar, Champions 'Women-Youth' Agenda

Chirag Paswan has given a message to end caste-based equations in Bihar politics. He states that the party's focus will be on the Women-Youth (M-Y) agenda, development, employment, and the problems of the public.

Bihar Politics: Union Minister Chirag Paswan has given a b message to end politics dependent on caste equations in Bihar. He clarified that his party's politics is not based on caste, but on Bihari identity and the Women-Youth (M-Y) agenda. Chirag accused the opposition of being devoid of issues and questioning the Election Commission over voter list revisions.

Identity-Based Agenda in Bihar Politics

Chirag Paswan stated that his party, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), is working on the philosophy of 'Bihar First' and 'Bihari First'. He believes that instead of caste-based polarization, identity-based inclusive development should now be prioritized in Bihar politics. He said, "Our agenda is to include every citizen of Bihar in the political process, with women and youth at its core."

The Union Minister also said that the opposition has continuously made issues out of EVM and voter list discrepancies, blaming others for their electoral failures. He called the opposition's protest against the release of the final voter list after the SIR (Summary Revision) unnecessary. Paswan stated that the names of several deceased individuals were still in the list, and work has been done to remove them, reducing the anomalies.

Jibe at Tejashwi Yadav

Chirag Paswan told reporters in Patna that his party does not engage in caste-based politics. Taking a dig at Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, he said that Tejashwi constantly practices caste-based politics. Paswan stated, "Tejashwi Yadav might have EBC, OBC, Dalit, and other castes in his mind, but for us, the people of Bihar are simply Biharis. Leaders who wear the 'M-Y' badge will continue to engage in caste-based politics."

Chirag clarified that his M-Y equation stands for Women and Youth. He described it as the party's new thinking and new identity. Paswan stated that the upcoming change in Bihar will come through the participation of women and youth. Only youth and women will give a new direction to Bihar's future.

Development, Employment, and Public Issues as Priorities

Chirag Paswan also stated that the objective of his politics is to respectfully include every citizen of Bihar in the political process. His focus will remain on public issues, development, and employment for the youth. He said, "The time has come to put the power of women and youth at the center of Bihar's politics. This very segment will give a new direction to the future Bihar."
