The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is launching its Premium Housing Scheme 2025 on August 26. This scheme will offer 250 ready-to-move-in flats in various locations including Vasant Kunj, Jasola, Rohini, and Dwarka. HIG, MIG, and LIG flats will be available at different price points, which are more affordable compared to Gurgaon and Noida.
DDA Housing Scheme: An opportunity to purchase premium flats at affordable rates in Delhi will soon be available. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will launch the Premium Housing Scheme 2025 from August 26, featuring 250 ready-to-move-in flats in Vasant Kunj, Jasola, Rohini, Dwarka, and Shalimar Bagh. The scheme includes flats for High, Middle, and Low-Income Groups, priced from ₹39 lakh to ₹2.54 crore. Car and scooter parking facilities will also be available with the flats.
Where Will the Flats Be Available Under the New Scheme?
Under this scheme, flats will be available in Vasant Kunj, Jasola, Rohini, Dwarka, Jahangirpuri, Nand Nagri, Pitampura, Ashok Vihar, and Shalimar Bagh. The total number of flats is approximately 250. Additionally, garage facilities for cars and scooters will also be available.
The DDA has informed that these flats will be booked through e-auction, i.e., online bidding. This scheme was approved on July 11 in a meeting chaired by LG VK Saxena.
Types of Flats and Their Features
Flats are available in this scheme for people of different income groups.
- HIG Flats: There are 39 High Income Group flats in Vasant Kunj, Jasola, and Sector 19B of Dwarka. These flats are for people with higher incomes.
- MIG Flats: There are 48 Middle Income Group flats in Jahangirpuri, Nand Nagri, Dwarka, and Pitampura. These are for middle-income people.
- LIG Flats: There are 22 Low Income Group flats in Rohini. These are for people with lower incomes.
Parking Facility
Parking facility is also available with the flats in this scheme. 16 car garages will be available in Pitampura, and 51 scooter garages will be available in Mall Road and Ashok Vihar. This will provide residents with parking facilities along with their homes.
Price of Flats
The price of the flats varies based on the type of flat and location.
- HIG Flats: ₹1.64 crore to ₹2.54 crore
- MIG Flats: ₹60 lakh to ₹1.5 crore
- LIG Flats: ₹39 lakh to ₹54 lakh
More Expensive in Gurgaon and Noida Compared to Delhi
In terms of price, these flats are significantly cheaper compared to Gurgaon and Noida. The price of similar flats in Gurgaon and Noida can be double or more compared to Delhi. Especially in Noida Extension, the price of a 1000 to 1200 square feet flat can reach up to ₹2 crore.
