In Narela, Delhi, driver Neetu Sahay murdered his employer's 5-year-old son to seek revenge. Police arrested the accused and uncovered the crime within 24 hours.
New Delhi: A shocking incident that shames humanity has come to light in Delhi's Narela area, where a driver brutally murdered his employer's 5-year-old son to avenge a slap. The incident occurred on the afternoon of October 21, 2025, when the innocent child suddenly disappeared while playing outside his home.
Police immediately launched an investigation and arrested the accused within just 24 hours. The accused was identified as Neetu Sahay alias Neetu Saday (28 years old), a resident of Madhubani district, Bihar.
Child Murder Case
According to DCP Outer-North Hareswar Swami, Neetu lured the child to his rented room nearby and murdered him using bricks and a knife. Police recovered blood-stained clothes from the accused.
Prior to the incident, an intoxicated fight broke out between two drivers of the complainant. During this altercation, Neetu was slapped 2-4 times and reprimanded by the employer, and to avenge this insult, he targeted the innocent child.
Police Solved the Case in 24 Hours
Upon receiving information about the incident, a joint team comprising Narela Police Station, AATS (Anti-Auto Theft Squad), and Special Staff was formed. Based on technical surveillance, CCTV footage, and confidential information, the accused's location was traced to the Malka Ganj area.
Acting swiftly, the police apprehended Neetu. During interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime and revealed the entire incident.
Accused's Profile and Mental State
Neetu had been living on rent in Goga Mod New Sannauth Colony, Narela, for the past year. He previously drove the complainant's Champion vehicle but was fired from his job a month ago.
According to the police, Neetu is an alcoholic and has a quarrelsome nature. After being removed from his job, he was filled with anger and jealousy, which compelled him to commit such a fatal act.
