Northern India recorded a marginal reduction in temperatures amid ongoing heat conditions, with brief relief reported across several regions. In Delhi-NCR, partial cloud cover, gusty winds and the possibility of light rain or drizzle are forecast.
A slight decline in temperatures was observed on Monday evening across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Haryana, offering limited relief from the prevailing heat. However, the respite was short-lived as warm winds persisted, and humid conditions continued during the night.
Despite minor changes in weather patterns, heat conditions remained evident during both daytime and nighttime. The drop in temperature remained limited, and its impact on daily life continued. Weather experts indicated that conditions may change in the coming days.

According to the India Meteorological Department, Delhi-NCR is likely to witness changing weather conditions within the next 24 hours. Partial cloud cover is expected, along with the possibility of light rain or drizzle accompanied by thunderstorms and b winds in some areas.
For Tuesday, the minimum temperature in Delhi is forecast between 26°C and 28°C, while the maximum temperature is expected to range between 41°C and 43°C. Wind speeds of 30 to 50 km/h and cloud movement may provide limited relief from the heat.
The weather department stated that temperatures in Delhi may decline by 3°C to 5°C in the coming days. However, it advised continued caution due to the possibility of sudden weather changes and the ongoing impact of heatwave conditions.
Experts recommended avoiding exposure to direct sunlight, maintaining adequate hydration, and wearing cotton clothing. Additional precautions such as covering the head and taking measures to prevent dehydration were also advised to minimise health risks during fluctuating weather conditions.
