Donald Trump claimed that he ended seven wars during his tenure and the Gaza-Israel conflict is his eighth peace effort. At the White House, Trump declared himself worthy of the Nobel Prize.
America: US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that he ended several major wars around the world under his leadership. During a cabinet meeting at the White House, Trump stated that he ended seven wars in just seven months, and now the Gaza-Israel conflict ceasefire (Ceasefire) agreement is the eighth. He declared himself deserving of the Nobel Prize (Nobel Prize). Trump said, “We ended seven endless wars, and now we are moving towards stopping the eighth. I think I should get the Nobel Prize for this.”
Trump's Claim at the White House Meeting
During the cabinet meeting held at the White House on Thursday morning, Trump discussed global conflicts (Global Conflicts) and presented his administration's role as a “peacemaker.” He stated that America is now working for peace (Peace), not war. Trump mentioned that he mediated a ceasefire agreement (Ceasefire Agreement) between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, and this is the “eighth war” he has brought to a halt.
Trump said, “We ended seven wars. Some of them had been going on for 31 years, one for 36 years. Seven wars ended, and now the ceasefire in Gaza-Israel is its eighth chapter.”
Trump's Statement on the Russia-Ukraine War
Trump also mentioned the Russia-Ukraine war (Russia-Ukraine War) at the meeting and stated that if he were president, this war would never have happened. He said, “Russia and Ukraine are losing almost 7,000 people every week. This is very sad. That war should never have happened. If I were president, it wouldn't have happened.”
Trump's List of 'Seven Wars'
Trump mentioned the wars and conflicts at the meeting that he claimed to have ended during his tenure. He stated that under his leadership, the US facilitated peace agreements (Peace Agreements) in several regions.
Trump gave examples, saying, “We ended wars between Cambodia and Thailand, Serbia, Congo and Rwanda, India and Pakistan, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, and Armenia and Azerbaijan. We prioritized peace and moved the world towards stability (Stability).”
He stated that his administration was focused on brokering agreements, not waging wars. “We stop wars, we make peace agreements. That is our mission,” Trump said.
Mention of India-Pakistan, Trump Described 'Peace Through Trade'
Trump reiterated his role in de-escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. He said, “Think about India and Pakistan. How did I stop it? Through trade (Trade). Both countries wanted to trade, and I used that opportunity for peace.”
Trump further added, “I have great respect for the leaders of both countries. We reduced tensions through dialogue (Dialogue) and averted the possibility of war. That is true diplomacy (Diplomacy).”
Renewed Claim on Gaza-Israel Conflict
Trump had recently announced that the “first phase” of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza would soon be implemented. He had called it “a new chapter of peace.” In the White House cabinet meeting, he also stated that this ceasefire (Ceasefire) is another example of his peace efforts.
Trump said, “We are ending the war in Gaza. This is the eighth ceasefire. The world is watching America stand for peace.” However, just hours after this announcement, more than 30 people died in Israeli attacks in Gaza, raising questions about Trump's plan.
