A fierce fight broke out between female dog lovers and a female security guard at Princess Park Society in Faridabad. The police have registered a case against three people on charges of assault with a screwdriver and beating by pulling hair, and have started an investigation.
Faridabad: A case of assault came to light on Saturday night in Princess Park Society, located in Greater Faridabad, Faridabad district of Haryana. Female security guard Poonam alleged that she was on duty at the society's main gate when Vipul Chauhan, a resident of Sector-17, and his wife Triveni arrived there. During the questioning at the gate, the dispute escalated and the matter turned violent.
The female guard alleges that during the dispute, Divya Nayak and Sunita also arrived. Both of them forcibly tried to take Vipul and his wife inside the society. When the female guard objected, Vipul pushed her down. After that, his wife Triveni attacked Poonam with a screwdriver lying near the gate, injuring her thigh.
Video of assault on female guard in society goes viral
On the society's terrace, female guard Poonam alleged that in the presence of Divya Nayak, she was dragged to the floor by her hair and severely beaten. Supporters of the accused also pushed the female guard down and attacked her with a sharp object. A video of this violent clash went viral on social media, showing the scuffle between both parties.
Police officials stated that the video shows a serious clash between both parties. This incident has shocked the residents of the society. Local residents are eager to know the real reason behind the incident and want the administration to take action.
Divya Nayak presents her side to the police
Divya Nayak stated to the police that she was calling her friend Triveni and her husband to the society. She claimed that the female guard stopped Triveni and Vipul from entering. After this, when both were going to feed the dogs in the basement, the female guard started assaulting them.
Divya also said that there was no violence before the fight and she only reacted for her self-defense. This incident is being described as a result of mutual conflict between both parties.
Case registered against three on the complaint of the female guard
Khedipul Station House Officer Naresh Kumar stated that a case has been registered against three people on the complaint of female guard Poonam. The police said that the matter is being thoroughly investigated and identification of the accused and their supporters will be done with the help of the video, and action will be taken accordingly.
The Station House Officer appealed to all parties to maintain peace and refrain from sharing controversial videos on social media. Officials said that learning from this incident, security protocols in the society will be further tightened.
