Free ECG Testing Resumes for Railway Employees and Families in Sultanpur

Railway employees and their families in Sultanpur will soon have access to free ECG testing at the Railway Hospital, eliminating previous out-of-pocket expenses.

Sultanpur: Railway employees and their families will now receive ECG testing services free of charge at the Railway Hospital. This service, which has been suspended for a long period, is set to resume, directly benefiting thousands of railway staff.

According to available information, a new ECG machine has been provided to the Railway Hospital, and the installation process is nearing completion. Once operational, railway employees and their families will be able to undergo cardiac examinations without any cost.

For approximately the past two years, the unavailability of ECG testing forced railway personnel to rely on private pathology labs, incurring additional expenses for the tests. The new arrangement will eliminate this financial burden.

The Railway Hospital administration states that approximately 2,500 railway employees and their families are expected to benefit from the service once it is launched. The team of doctors and health workers stationed at the hospital are prepared to examine and treat patients.

Local railway employees have welcomed this decision, stating that it will not only save time but also make health check-ups more accessible and affordable.
