FWICE Urges Badshah to Clarify Ties with Pakistani-Operated Event Organizer

Rapper Badshah is currently under scrutiny by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). The Federation has written a detailed letter to Badshah, seeking an immediate response.

Entertainment: Badshah, the renowned rapper and singer in Bollywood and the Indian music industry, is currently embroiled in controversy. Reports indicate that he is scheduled to be part of his musical tour, ‘Badshah Unfinished Tour,’ at the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, USA, on September 19, 2025. However, this event is being organized by 3Sixty Shows, a company allegedly operated by Pakistani nationals.

Consequently, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has written to Badshah seeking clarification on this tour and his association with the organizers.

FWICE's Letter and Objection

In its letter to Badshah, the Federation stated that, according to directives issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Indian artists and technicians should refrain from any professional collaboration or performance with Pakistani nationals or organizations linked to Pakistan. FWICE clarified that these directives have been implemented in light of ongoing terrorism and hostile activities against India.

The letter further stated that this becomes even more crucial considering the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025. In that attack, armed terrorists targeted an army convoy, resulting in the martyrdom of five brave soldiers and injuries to several others. FWICE stated that this incident serves as a painful reminder of the persistent violence against India, and it is the responsibility of every citizen and artist to maintain solidarity against such perpetrators and their supporters.

Instruction to Respond Immediately

FWICE explicitly and sternly stated in its letter that they request an immediate response regarding the event and his association with the organizers. They expressed confidence that as a respected Indian artist, he would adhere to the sentiments of the nation and the directives issued by FWICE and the Government of India.

The ‘Badshah Unfinished Tour’ is scheduled to be held in various cities across America. The Dallas event is the first part of this tour. However, the organizer, 3Sixty Shows, is a company allegedly operated by Pakistani nationals. FWICE and several social media users believe that this type of professional engagement could be against national security and patriotic sentiments.

Badshah's team has not yet officially responded to FWICE's letter. However, sources within the music industry believe that this matter may soon garner more media attention, as balancing national sentiment and the responsibility of the entertainment industry has always been a sensitive issue.

Message of National Honor and Security

The aim of this step by FWICE is not just to question the decision of an artist but also to underscore the importance of national sentiments and national security. The Federation stated that any Indian artist should consider national interests, security, and the responsibility of patriotism before performing on an international stage.

This news has rapidly gained reaction on social networks. Some people are supporting FWICE's decision and believing that artists should always take care of national honor and sentiments. At the same time, some fans are on Badshah's side and believe that the field of music and art should always be independent.
