Goa nightclub fire: Following the devastating fire at a Goa nightclub, its owners, Saurav and Gaurav Luthra, have fled the country. Both brothers departed for Phuket on Sunday. The Goa Police are now preparing to issue a Blue Corner Notice with the assistance of Interpol to apprehend them. This step is being taken to track them internationally and ensure their arrest.
Death Toll
A massive fire broke out late Saturday night at the nightclub, located approximately 25 kilometers from Panaji, resulting in the deaths of 25 people. Among the deceased were 20 nightclub employees and five tourists, four of whom were residents of Delhi. Five people were seriously injured in the fire and are currently undergoing treatment at the government-run Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The incident has caused concern and shock not only locally but across the entire country.
Luthra Brothers Abscond
According to information, the Luthra brothers departed for Phuket on December 7th at 5:30 AM via Indigo flight number 6E 1073. With the help of the Mumbai-based Immigration Bureau, it was discovered that both accused had fled the country immediately after the fire. The Goa Police had issued a lookout circular against them until December 7th and instructed the Intelligence Bureau (BOI) to investigate the matter.

Search for Third Partner Intensifies
Goa Police have also intensified their search for Ajay Gupta, the third partner of the Luthra brothers. It is reported that Ajay Gupta was a partner in this nightclub, and his role in the case is being investigated. Police raided his Delhi residence, located in the GTB Nagar area. However, no one was present there, and the house was locked.
Efforts to Arrest via Blue Corner Notice
Goa Police have decided to seek assistance from Interpol. Saurav and Gaurav Luthra will be sought internationally through a Blue Corner Notice. Once this notice is issued, authorities in various countries will be informed about the arrest of the two brothers, and they can be detained as soon as they cross international borders.
Action by Security Agencies
Goa Police had registered an FIR against the accused immediately after the fire incident. Subsequently, security agencies launched an international and nationwide search for the two brothers. Police state that all clues in the case are being gathered, and arrests are expected soon. Officials are continuously searching for them at airports and along air routes.
Investigation into the Incident Continues
The investigation into the causes of the nightclub fire is ongoing. Officials state that safety standards were not adhered to at the club, and the fire could be a result of this negligence. Police said that the investigation is being conducted with full integrity to determine the responsibility of all involved parties.
