The decline indicates the influence of volatility in international markets on the domestic commodity market.

In contrast, the bullion market had recorded gains in the previous trading session. According to the All India Sarafa Association, gold was priced at ₹1.53 lakh per 10 grams and silver at ₹2.42 lakh per kilogram.

The increase was attributed to softer crude oil prices and weakness in the US dollar. Data from the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) showed that by market close, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,48,900 per 10 grams, excluding GST and making charges.

According to GoodReturns data, prices for key gold purities were as follows: 24-carat gold at ₹1,50,660 per 10 grams, 22-carat gold at ₹1,38,100 per 10 grams, and 18-carat gold at approximately ₹1,12,000 per 10 grams. Silver was priced at ₹2,50,000 per kilogram.

Prices may vary across cities depending on taxes, making charges, and local demand.
