Gold and silver prices continued to witness fluctuations in India amid global economic uncertainties, a ber dollar, and rising concerns over interest rates. Demand from the wedding season and investment activity has kept consumers and investors focused on developments in the bullion market.
According to the latest market trends released on June 24, 2026, gold prices recorded limited changes, while silver prices showed a notable decline compared with recent sessions. International gold prices have fallen to a two-week low, a trend that has also affected the Indian market.
In major domestic markets, 24-carat gold is trading in the range of approximately ₹1.44 lakh to ₹1.47 lakh per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold is priced between approximately ₹1.32 lakh and ₹1.35 lakh per 10 grams. Prices may vary slightly across cities due to local taxes, demand conditions, and making charges.
Eighteen-carat gold remains priced below 24-carat and 22-carat gold and is primarily used in fashion and diamond jewellery. Market experts said the price of 18-carat gold is determined by its purity level and that it is more widely used for jewellery than for investment purposes.
