Gold and silver prices moved in different directions in India’s bullion and commodity markets on Thursday. Prices of gold on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) recorded gains, while silver witnessed volatility during early trade. Rising global economic uncertainty and demand for safe-haven assets supported gold prices.
Market experts said movements in the US dollar, central bank policies and geopolitical tensions continued to drive fluctuations in precious metal prices in international markets.
