Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district will see recruitment for 100 security guard positions by a private company. Campus interviews will be conducted at four locations between November 3 and November 6, 2026. Male candidates who have passed Class 10 and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply. Selected candidates will receive a monthly gross salary of Rs 17,000 to Rs 20,000.
A recruitment drive for 100 security guard positions will be conducted in Chamba district with the assistance of the District Employment Office. The recruitment is being organised by Security and Intelligence Services India Limited (RTA Hamirpur).
According to District Employment Officer Jitender Singh Verma, campus interviews will be held at four employment offices across the district between November 3 and November 6, 2026. The arrangement has been made to enable candidates to attend interviews at the employment office nearest to their location.
The interview schedule is as follows: the first interview will take place at the District Employment Office in Chamba on November 3. Interviews will subsequently be held at Bharmour on November 4, Dalhousie on November 5, and the Sub-Employment Office in Sundla on November 6.
Interviews at all four locations will begin at 10:30 am and continue until 2 pm. Candidates must report in person to the designated employment office on the scheduled date.
Candidates applying for the positions must have passed at least Class 10. Those with higher educational qualifications are also eligible to participate in the recruitment process.
The recruitment is open to male candidates aged between 19 and 40 years. Applicants must also meet the prescribed physical requirements.
The minimum height requirement is 168 centimetres, while candidates must weigh between 55 kg and 95 kg.
Candidates meeting the educational, age and physical eligibility criteria can attend the interviews. Applicants have been advised to check their eligibility and required documents before visiting the employment offices.
Candidates selected through the interviews will undergo one month of training before joining their positions. After completing the training, they will be deployed as security guards in Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh.
The company will offer selected employees a monthly gross salary ranging from Rs 17,000 to Rs 20,000. Additional allowances and facilities will also be provided. However, the actual take-home salary may differ from the gross salary.
Candidates attending the interviews must carry their original educational certificates, employment office registration certificate, Aadhaar card, passport-sized photographs and an updated résumé.
District Employment Officer Jitender Singh Verma has clarified that candidates will have to bear their own travel expenses to attend the interviews. No travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be provided by the department.
