The Haryana Public Service Commission has released detailed eligibility criteria, age limit, selection process and application fee information for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teacher Computer Science posts in Haryana.
Candidates applying for the PGT Computer Science post must hold an M.Sc in Computer Science, MCA, or BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT with a minimum of 55 percent marks. Candidates must also have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the Matric or higher level.
In addition, applicants are required to have qualified the HTET or STET examination. The age limit has been set between 18 and 42 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation as per state government rules.
The selection process will be conducted in three stages. A screening test will be held first, followed by a subject-based written examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in the interview.
The application fee is ₹1,000 for candidates belonging to the general category. Female candidates of certain reserved categories and dependents of ex-servicemen are required to pay ₹250. PwBD candidates from Haryana are exempted from payment of the application fee.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official website of the commission. Applicants must complete new registration, log in to fill out the application form, upload required documents, pay the prescribed fee and submit the form. Candidates are required to keep a printout of the application form for future reference.
