HTET 2025: Exam Schedule, Admit Card Instructions, and Important Guidelines

The HTET 2025 examination is scheduled for July 30-31. A colored admit card and valid identification are mandatory at the examination center. Compliance with the dress code, reporting time, and other guidelines is essential.

HTET 2025: The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET 2025) will be conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) on July 30 and 31, 2025, across the state. The examination will be held for three levels: PGT (Level 3), TGT (Level 2), and PRT (Level 1).

Instructions Regarding Admit Card and Identification

It is mandatory for candidates appearing in the HTET examination to carry a colored printout of their admit card and a valid photo identification (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, passport, or driving license) to the examination center. Candidates without a colored admit card or original ID will not be allowed entry.

Reporting Time and Initial Verification

Candidates must report to the examination center at least 2 hours and 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination. During this time, they will undergo metal detector screening, biometric verification, and thumbprint verification. Late arrival will result in denial of permission to sit for the examination.

Examination Shifts and Timings

  • July 30, 2025: PGT (Level-III) Examination — 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM

July 31, 2025:

  • TGT (Level-II) Examination — 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
  • PRT (Level-I) Examination — 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Dress Code and Prohibited Items

Candidates are prohibited from carrying any type of electronic device (such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, watches, earphones, calculators) and metal jewelry (rings, earrings, chains, etc.) to the examination center. A strict dress code is applicable for both male and female candidates.

However, female candidates may wear a bindi, sindoor, and mangalsutra. Sikh and Baptized candidates are permitted to wear religious symbols.

Arrangements for Candidates with Special Needs (Divyang)

Visually impaired and Divyang candidates will be given an additional 50 minutes of compensatory time. Candidates who are unable to write on their own may avail the facility of a scribe. The educational qualification of the scribe should not be higher than 12th grade.

Candidates can choose their own scribe or avail this facility from the board. For this, it is mandatory to contact the board office 7 days prior to the examination. If they wish to obtain permission from the Superintendent of the examination center, they must contact them at least 2 days in advance with all the necessary documents.

Essential Documents to Carry to the Examination Center

  • Colored Admit Card (Center Copy and Candidate Copy both)
  • Admit card with a photograph affixed that was uploaded at the time of registration, attested by a Gazetted Officer
  • Valid and original photo ID proof

No Permission for Change of Examination Center or Subject

Change of examination center or subject will not be permitted under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates should prepare only after verifying the correct information about their center and subject.
