ENTERTAINMENT: Bollywood's talented actress Huma Qureshi (Huma Qureshi) is currently in the news for her upcoming web series ‘Delhi Crime 3 (Delhi Crime 3)’. The trailer for the third season of Netflix's hit crime drama series was recently released, and fans are thoroughly enjoying Huma Qureshi's new and powerful avatar in it.
Speaking to the media at the trailer launch, Huma Qureshi shared her heartfelt feelings about her role in the series, her experience working with co-stars, and becoming a part of this universe.
Being a part of Delhi Crime is an honour for me – Huma Qureshi
Huma Qureshi, who has carved a distinct identity for herself in the OTT world with the series ‘Maharani’, has now played a negative character in ‘Delhi Crime 3’. The actress said,
'I am a huge fan of Delhi Crime. What Shefali Shah has done is incredible. The way Rasika Dugal and all the other actors have brought this show to life is amazing. Being a part of this universe is an honour for me.'
Huma further added that she knew she would have to give her best performance (Best Performance) while working on this series, as the show is deeply emotionally connected with the audience. It is a story that people have loved in every season. Therefore, I felt that I should leave no stone unturned in my performance.
Never felt new on set - Huma
Sharing her experience with the rest of the cast of the series, Huma Qureshi said that the Delhi Crime team embraced her very warmly. The entire cast gave me a wonderful welcome. Not for a moment did I feel new on this set. Everyone was very lovely and supportive. Huma further added that most of her time was spent with Shefali Shah (Shefali Shah), as they have many scenes together in the series.
Working with Shefali was a very inspiring experience. She was like an elder sister in our team. The scenes shot between us were very emotional and intense, but the shooting environment always remained positive.
Working under Tanuj Chopra's direction was fantastic
Regarding her experience working with the series' director Tanuj Chopra (Tanuj Chopra), Huma said, 'Tanuj is a very insightful and visionary director. He knows what he wants from his actors and how to elicit it. He gave us the freedom to experiment in every scene, which strengthened both the characters and the story.'
Huma shared that she prepared for her character for several months and also researched crime investigation to make her role realistic.
What will be special in ‘Delhi Crime 3’
The trailer of ‘Delhi Crime 3’ once again takes viewers into the world of mysterious events happening on the streets of Delhi. In this season, Shefali Shah will once again appear in the role of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi. Meanwhile, Huma Qureshi's character will bring twists and conflict to the story. In addition to Shefali Shah and Huma Qureshi, actors like Rajesh Tailang, Rasika Dugal, Anurag Arora, and Jaya Bhattacharya will also be seen in important roles in the series.
Directed by Tanuj Chopra, ‘Delhi Crime 3’ will be streamed on Netflix India from November 13, 2025. Fans expect to see the same realistic storytelling and powerful performances from this series that made the previous two seasons blockbusters.
