ICAI has released CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final January 2026 exam dates. Applications start from November 3, with late fees accepted until November 19. Admit cards will be available online before the examination.
ICAI CA January Exam 2026: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the exam dates for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final January 2026 session. According to the notification, the examinations will be conducted from January 5 to January 24, 2026.
Candidates are advised to plan their preparation according to the examination schedule and complete the application process on time.
Application Process and Important Dates
Aspirants who wish to appear for this examination can fill out the form online by visiting ICAI's official website eservices.icai.org. The important dates related to the application are as follows:
- Starting date for filling online form: November 3, 2025
- Last date for filling form without late fee: November 16, 2025
- Last date for application with late fee: November 19, 2025
- Date for correction/exam city change: November 20, 2025
Candidates are advised to complete the application on time and note the November 20th date for correcting any errors.
CA Final Exam Dates and Timings
The CA Final examination will be conducted in 6 papers. The time and schedule for each paper are as follows:
- Papers 1 to 5: 2 PM to 5 PM (3 hours)
- Paper 6: 2 PM to 6 PM (4 hours)
Group 1 papers for the Final examination will be held on January 5, 7, and 9, 2026, and Group 2 papers on January 11, 13, and 16, 2026.
CA Intermediate Exam Dates and Timings
Exam dates for Group 1 and Group 2 of the CA Intermediate Course have been announced:
- Group 1: January 6, 8, 10, 2026
- Group 2: January 12, 15, 16, 2026
All Intermediate papers will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM. Candidates will be given 3 hours to complete each paper.
CA Foundation Exam Schedule
The examination schedule for the Foundation Course has also been determined. The papers and timings are as follows:
- Papers 1 and 2: 2 PM to 5 PM (3 hours)
- Papers 3 and 4: 2 PM to 4 PM (2 hours)
Candidates are advised to practice with time management in mind and complete their preparations for the examination.
MEMBERS’ EXAMINATION Dates
Some special examinations will also be conducted by ICAI under the MEMBERS’ EXAMINATION:
- INTERNATIONAL TAXATION – ASSESSMENT TEST (INTT – AT): January 13 and 16, 2026
- INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT (IRM) TECHNICAL EXAMINATION (Modules I to IV): January 9, 11, 13, 16, 2026
For these special examinations as well, candidates must ensure timely application and preparation.
Admit Card and City Slip
Admit cards for all candidates will be released online a few days before the examination. Candidates are advised to download their admit cards only from ICAI's official website.
Before downloading the admit card, an exam city slip will be released, allowing candidates to obtain information about their examination city and prepare for travel.
