In this online betting app case, not only cricketers but also other celebrities and former politicians have been sent notices by the ED. These include:
- Mimi Chakraborty, former TMC MP and Bengali actress
- Actor Ankush Hazra
- Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, who has been asked to appear at the ED office on September 24
The objective of their investigation is to uncover a multi-crore scam and illegal online betting operations.
