The Indian Women's A cricket team will tour Australia in 2025, where they will play a multi-format series. This tour will be a great opportunity for the young players of the team to gain experience at the international level.
Sports News: In an effort to take Indian women's cricket to new heights, the BCCI has announced the India A Women’s Team for the 2025 Australia tour. This tour will take place from August 7th to August 24th, and will feature a multi-format series. The team will play three T20s, three ODIs, and a four-day Test match during this tour. Notably, experienced spinner Radha Yadav has been entrusted with the captaincy of the team.
Radha Yadav to lead the team
Left-arm spinner Radha Yadav has been appointed as the captain of the team in all three formats. She will lead the India A Women's Team in the T20, ODI, and four-day matches. Radha has performed brilliantly in domestic and international cricket in recent years, and good results are expected from the team under her leadership.
Shreyanka Patil and Titas Sadhu return
A notable aspect of this squad is the return of two star players—off-spinner Shreyanka Patil and fast bowler Titas Sadhu—to the team. Shreyanka Patil had been out of the team for a long time due to injury. She last played in the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 in the United Arab Emirates. Titas Sadhu was also out of the recent Sri Lanka tri-series and the England tour due to injury. Now, she has received fitness clearance from the BCCI, confirming her return.
