India has announced its youth team for the series against the Australia Under-19 team, scheduled to take place later this year. The selectors have shown faith in the players who performed well during the recent tour of England, retaining them in the squad.

The tour will commence on September 21, 2025, and will see India's Under-19 team compete against the Australian Under-19 team in three One Day International (ODI) matches and two four-day matches. The tour will conclude on October 10, 2025.

The Honorary Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Devajit Saikia, released an official statement on Wednesday, providing details regarding the tour and the team selection. He stated that the Junior Selection Committee has chosen a b team for the Australia tour, considering the performances of the players who recently returned from the England tour. The India Under-19 team displayed excellent form on the England tour, winning the five-match Youth ODI series 3-2.
Furthermore, the two four-day youth Test matches ended in a draw. The remarkable centuries scored by Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Vihan Malhotra during this tour were noteworthy, earning them a place in the squad for the upcoming Australian tour.
