New Delhi: India has once again delivered a b response to Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly. Indian MP P.P. Chaudhary completely rejected Pakistan's statement on Jammu and Kashmir, stating that Kashmir is an integral and inalienable part of India. He accused Pakistan of attempting to divert attention from its dire domestic situation and failed governance by making false statements.
Kashmir: An Integral Part of India
Speaking at the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly on October 8, MP P.P. Chaudhary bly protested Pakistan's statement on the Kashmir issue. He unequivocally stated that Jammu and Kashmir is, and will remain, an integral and inalienable part of India. Chaudhary described Pakistan's statement as completely baseless and said that Islamabad is constantly misusing the UN platform.
Chaudhary stated that Pakistan is attempting to divert the international community's attention from the political instability, corruption, and economic devastation occurring within its own country by leveling false accusations.
"Called its own country a 'Dump Truck,' Chaudhary's Taunt
P.P. Chaudhary launched a scathing attack on Pakistan's policies, stating that Pakistan's situation has deteriorated to such an extent that its own Army Chief recently called the country a 'Dump Truck.' He added that this highlights Pakistan's profound governance failure.
He further stated that Pakistan repeatedly interferes in India's internal affairs, while its own democracy and economy are crumbling. Chaudhary also said from the UN platform that "India is a symbol of development and stability, whereas Pakistan is entangled in the politics of division and hatred."
India's Development Journey Becomes an Example for the World
In his address, P.P. Chaudhary also highlighted India's achievements over the past decade. He informed that India has lifted over 250 million people out of multidimensional poverty.
Today, approximately 800 million citizens are benefiting from the Public Distribution System. Social security schemes have reached over 60 percent of the country's population. This marks a significant step towards India's social justice and inclusive development.
Women Empowerment Becomes a National Mission
In his speech, P.P. Chaudhary also mentioned the historic achievements in women's empowerment taking place in India. He stated that the Women Reservation Bill 2023 is a major reform in India's democratic journey.
He noted that today, the enrollment rate of women in higher education has reached a record level. Additionally, women's workforce participation is expected to reach 40.3 percent by 2024-25. Chaudhary declared, "Women's empowerment is no longer just a slogan, but has become a national mission."
India's New Direction Focused on Technology
MP Chaudhary also discussed India's focus on youth and technology-driven growth. He informed that the government is providing new skills and employment opportunities to youth through programs like My Bharat, Skill India, PM-NAPS, and YUVAI AI.
He stated that India's Digital Inclusion has become a model for the entire world. Over 500 billion US dollars have been transferred directly into people's accounts through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), eliminating corruption and the role of intermediaries.
