Indian Stock Market May Open Lower as Gift Nifty Falls 0.31 Percent

Indian stock market opening: Gift Nifty falls 69.50 points or 0.31% to 22,590 ahead of Thursday's session, while investors track key corporate orders, launches, management decisions and quarterly results.

The Indian stock market is showing indications of a weak opening on Thursday. At around 7:30 am, Gift Nifty was trading around 22,590, down 69.50 points or 0.31%.

Global market uncertainty and a rise in crude oil prices have also remained factors ahead of the domestic market opening.

Market experts consider 22,600 an important level for the Nifty. If the index sustains below this level, selling pressure could increase. On the other hand, sustained strength above 22,600 could indicate signs of recovery in the market. Investors will also track companies involved in corporate activities, new orders, product launches and management decisions.
