On June 13, 2025, Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran, codenamed ‘Operation Rising Lion.’ This attack targeted Iranian nuclear sites and ballistic missile production facilities. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described it as a matter concerning Israel's security and survival.
Iran confirmed retaliatory drone strikes against Israel and warned that it would respond proportionately to any further attacks. Iran further asserted that it would not be intimidated and would take all necessary measures for its self-defense.

US President Donald Trump reacted bly to these events. Trump stated that he had given Iran multiple opportunities to reach a deal, but Iran repeatedly ignored them.
Trump said, "I told Iran repeatedly to make a deal. I told them in the best terms to stop. But no matter how close they got, they never could quite get it done. Now it’s time to pay the price.” He further stated that the US produces the world's most lethal military technology, and Israel possesses a significant arsenal. "And they know how to use it," Trump warned.

Trump's statement wasn't limited to warnings; he used extremely b language against Iran, claiming that many previously defiant Iranians are no longer alive. He asserted that the situation could worsen if Iran didn't change course.
"Make a Deal or be Destroyed"
Donald Trump explicitly stated that Iran must now negotiate a deal. If it fails to act promptly, its very existence will be jeopardized. He warned Iran: "There's still time. Make a deal, or what was once known as the 'Iranian Empire' will be completely destroyed."
He also stated that there should be no more deaths or destruction. He concluded his speech by saying, "God bless you all."
