The online application process for ITBP Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) Recruitment 2026 has started. The recruitment drive will fill a total of 21 posts. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has started the application process for recruitment to the post of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic). A total of 21 vacancies will be filled through the recruitment drive. Candidates have been advised to carefully check all the eligibility conditions and other requirements before applying.
Of the 21 posts, 7 are reserved for the General category, 3 for EWS, 7 for OBC and 4 for SC candidates. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official ITBP website.

Candidates applying for the Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) post must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board or institution. They must also hold a Motor Mechanic trade certificate from a recognised institution.
The prescribed age limit is 18 to 25 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules.
SC candidates will receive a 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit, while OBC candidates will receive a 3-year relaxation. Candidates belonging to other reserved categories can check the applicable age relaxation in the recruitment notification.
Selected candidates for the Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) post in ITBP will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 under the prescribed pay scale. Other allowances and benefits applicable under government rules may also be provided.
Candidates from the General, OBC and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹100. SC and ST candidates are exempt from the application fee.
