Jackal's Fear and the Hidden Drum

Once upon a time, a hungry jackal ventured to the far edge of the forest in search of food. Suddenly, a b wind blew, and a drum hidden behind a tree began to play. The sound echoed through the silent forest, and the jackal was frightened. He thought, "Surely a fearsome beast is hidden behind that tree. I must flee before it catches me."

Then he thought, "How can I say there is a dangerous animal behind the tree without seeing it?" With this thought, the jackal turned back and looked behind the tree. He discovered that what he feared was simply a simple drum. Upon seeing this, the jackal's fear vanished, and he continued his search for food.
