Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar's whereabouts have been unknown since his resignation. Sanjay Raut has written to Home Minister Amit Shah seeking information on his safety and health; the opposition is also concerned.

EX VP Jagdeep Dhankhar: Questions are constantly being raised about the whereabouts and health of former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar ever since his sudden resignation on July 21st. Opposition leaders state that they are not receiving any information about Dhankhar's current condition.

Sanjay Raut's Question After Kapil Sibal

Senior lawyer and leader Kapil Sibal, who sits in the Rajya Sabha as an independent after leaving Congress, had already raised questions on this matter. Now, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut has also raised the same issue, writing a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah. In the letter, he has demanded information regarding Dhankhar's current address, health, and safety.

What Raut Said in the Letter to the Home Minister

Sanjay Raut wrote in his letter, "No clear information is available about the former Vice President. His current address and health status are unknown. Some members of the Rajya Sabha have tried to contact him but have been unsuccessful."

Raut also stated that many rumors are circulating in Delhi that Dhankhar has been confined to his residence and is not safe. Neither he nor any of his staff can be contacted.

Environment of Rumors and Concern

The discussion is intensifying in Delhi's political circles that Dhankhar's condition is not normal. Raut said that this situation is a matter of serious concern and the country should get accurate information about it. He questioned, "Where is our former Vice President? How is his health? Is he safe?"

Last week, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) chief Uddhav Thackeray also made a statement on this matter. He said, "Where is our former Vice President now? This issue is serious and should be discussed."
