How Can Speed Be So High in the Street?
Residents of Barkat Nagar stated that the area is characterized by narrow streets, where even a speed of 20-30 kmph is considered high. Therefore, driving at 90-95 kmph in these streets is a blatant act of negligence. Many local residents have pointed out that vehicles from outside frequently enter these streets at high speeds, increasing the risk of accidents.
Citizens have requested the authorities to implement measures such as speed bumps, no-entry zones, and one-way systems in this area to prevent such accidents in the future.
