According to recent information, Jaish-e-Mohammed has shared a post on social media appealing to its supporters for secret donations. The organization has requested money for the renovation of its headquarters, 'Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah,' located in Bahawalpur. The post states that all supporters should work together to rebuild the mosque and contribute to this noble cause.
Bahawalpur is Home to Jaish's Headquarters
The headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammed is located in the Bahawalpur area of Pakistan's southern Punjab province. This place is about 100 kilometers inside the forests from the residential area. Terrorist training, strategy formation, and weapons storage were carried out in the Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah complex. Masood Azhar and other members of his family also lived here.
India's Retaliatory Action: Operation Sindoor
After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, in which 26 tourists died, the Indian government took b action. In retaliation, on the night of May 6 and 7, Indian security forces conducted air and ground strikes on nine terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and गुलाम Kashmir. This operation was named 'Operation Sindoor.' Jaish-e-Mohammed's headquarters was also targeted in this operation. Several close relatives of Masood Azhar also died in the action.

Jaish's Terrorist History
Jaish-e-Mohammed's name has been linked to several major terrorist attacks in India. Jaish has been implicated in the December 13, 2001 attack on Parliament, the February 14, 2019 Pulwama attack, and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Masood Azhar is considered the main conspirator behind all these attacks.
How Masood Azhar Was Freed
Masood Azhar was arrested by India in 1994, but had to be released in 1999 after the hijacking of Air India flight IC-814. After his release, he founded Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan and carried out several terrorist attacks. Today, the same Masood Azhar is pleading for help on social media to rebuild his organization's headquarters.
