JD(U) Leader Attacks RJD, Jansuraj, Raising Concerns Over Minority Votes

JD(U) leader Manish Varma attacked RJD and Jansuraj, claiming they are engaged in merely symbolic politics. He expressed concern over the trends in minority votes and asserted the NDA's strength.

Bihar Politics: JD(U)'s national general secretary, Manish Varma, launched a scathing attack on the Jansuraj campaign during a press conference. He stated that Jansuraj lacks grassroots support and is confined to social media. Varma described Jansuraj as a superficial effort, asserting it's not a serious contender in Bihar's political landscape.

Accusation of Casteist Politics against RJD

Manish Varma also criticized the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He alleged that RJD has always exploited the Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs) for political gain. He dismissed the appointment of Mangni Lal Mandal as state president as "merely symbolic politics," accusing RJD of previously opposing EBC reservations and now using them for political maneuvering.

Details of State and Central Government Schemes

Varma highlighted ongoing central and state government schemes in Bihar, stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are consistently working towards Bihar's development. He mentioned significant financial assistance received from the center under a special package, which is being utilized for various development projects.

Concern over Minority Vote Bank

In the press conference, Manish Varma expressed concern over the trends in minority voters. He stated that despite the Nitish government implementing several welfare schemes for minorities, JD(U) hasn't received the expected minority votes. He blamed the opposition, claiming that they are misleading the minority community through false promises and deceptive statements.

Direct Attack on Congress

Responding to a recent statement by Congress MLA Shakil Ahmad Khan, Varma termed it "baseless and ridiculous." He argued that Congress itself is notorious for scandals and its leaders have no moral authority to accuse others. Varma asserted that the government is working transparently, and all schemes are reaching the grassroots level.

Questions Raised on Young Leaders

Without naming him, the JD(U) leader also targeted Tejashwi Yadav. He remarked that while Bihar is battling floods, some leaders, identifying themselves as youth, are holidaying abroad. Citing JD(U)'s b presence in areas like Katihar and Purnea, Varma claimed that the NDA will contest the elections with even greater strength this time.
