Jewar Airport to Inaugurate October 30, 2025, Aviation Minister Announces

Union Minister of Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, has announced that Jewar Airport, one of the country's largest and most modern airports, will be inaugurated on October 30, 2025. 

New Delhi: The inauguration date for Jewar Airport has been announced. Union Minister of Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, stated at an event organized at Hindon Airport that Jewar Airport will be inaugurated on October 30. He further mentioned that flight services will commence within 45 days of the inauguration. In the first phase, flights will be operated from Jewar to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. 

In addition to this, he also announced that free Wi-Fi services will be provided to passengers at all airports across the country within the next two months. The Minister shared this information during the event held at Hindon Airport.

Jewar Airport: A Major Step in India's Air Transport

Jewar Airport, also known as Noida International Airport, will strengthen air transport for both passengers and cargo at national and international levels. Union Minister of Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, stated that this airport will serve as a new hub for passenger facilities and air connectivity in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The Minister elaborated that in the first phase of airport operations, flights to major southern and western cities will be initiated. Under this plan, direct flight services will be available to Bengaluru and Hyderabad, offering convenience to both business travelers and tourists.

Flight Timelines and Expansion

The Union Minister stated that regular flight operations will commence within 45 days of the inauguration. He added that as the airport's capabilities expand, services to new cities and international routes will also be extended. The inauguration of Jewar Airport will improve air travel accessibility and connectivity in the Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Greater Noida regions. This airport has been developed with a specific focus on saving people's time and costs.

During the event, the Minister also announced that free Wi-Fi facility will be provided to passengers at all airports in India within the next two months. This will not only enhance passenger amenities but also accelerate the progress towards Digital India goals.
