The government has also ordered to keep intra-circle roaming active until September 2nd, enabling affected individuals to connect with any network.

Telecom companies: Jio and Airtel have announced a 3-day validity extension, unlimited calling, and data services for people affected by floods and landslides in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh. This initiative will help provide uninterrupted connectivity to millions of customers. Furthermore, the government has also ordered the activation of intra-circle roaming until September 2nd, ensuring that calls and internet services run smoothly on any network.

Special Package for Jio Users

Jio has announced a 3-day validity extension for its customers, offering unlimited voice calling and 2GB of high-speed data daily. This will allow affected individuals to stay connected with their families and essential services.

Not only prepaid users, but JioHome users are also being provided with an additional 3-day benefit. Moreover, postpaid customers will receive a 3-day grace period for bill payments, enabling them to continue using calling and data services without any interruption.

Airtel Also Provides Relief

Airtel has also announced a 3-day validity extension for its prepaid customers. This offer provides users with unlimited calling and 1GB of high-speed data daily, alleviating concerns about network and data for flood-affected users.

Additionally, Airtel's postpaid and broadband customers are being given a 3-day grace period, allowing users to continue utilizing their services without any disruption.

Government's Significant Step

According to a Business Standard report, the government has instructed all telecom operators to keep intra-circle roaming active in Jammu-Kashmir and other affected states until September 2nd. This means users will be able to avail calling and data services by using any network.
