Kanpur Gas Stove Fire: Mother & Five Family Members Critically Burned in Rescue Attempt

Pipargaon, Kanpur — A mother cooking food suddenly became engulfed in flames from a gas stove. In an attempt to rescue her, both her young and older children, along with her husband and nephew, also suffered burns.

Neighbors extinguished the fire with water and blankets, and all five individuals were initially taken to a nursing home. Recognizing the severity of their condition, they were subsequently sent to Ursala Hospital.

Their condition is critical. Police stated that an investigation is underway, and the family will be provided with all possible assistance.

Hearing the cries of distress, 32-year-old nephew Bablu and husband Yusuf (45 years old) rushed inside, and both also suffered burns while attempting to rescue them. 

Neighbors used water and blankets to put out the fire, and all five were transported to a nursing home, from where they were referred to Ursala Hospital. 

Their condition at Ursala Hospital is reported to be critical. 

Police have stated that the incident is being investigated, and all possible aid will be extended to the affected family.
