In a Community Health Center (CHC) in **Sultanpur**, a pregnant woman and her baby died.

Her family alleges that the hospital staff and doctors were negligent, leaving the woman to groan in pain on the floor.

Sequence of Events

When she experienced illness and pain, the woman (Vandana) was brought to the Community Health Center by ambulance in the morning.

She was admitted to the hospital, but according to reports, no swift action was taken, with staff reportedly saying, “the baby cannot be delivered as there is no pain.”

In the afternoon, the shift changed, and other staff members observed the situation, but no effective action was taken in a timely manner.

Late in the evening, when the woman was finally attended to, the baby was already stillborn. The woman's condition was also not favorable.

Family's Allegations and Response

Her husband, Durgesh Kumar, accused the hospital administration and staff, stating that lives might have been saved if better care and treatment had been provided in time.

A hospital official, Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, stated that a thorough investigation into the entire matter would be conducted, and action would be taken against those found responsible.
