Kanwar Yatra 2025: A confluence of faith, technology, and convenience

The month of Sawan is very important for the devotees of Lord Shiva. Lakhs of Kanwariyas bring Gangajal from Haridwar, Gaumukh, and Gangotri and perform Jalabhishek in their respective Shiva temples. It is the responsibility of the administration to take care of their safety, health, and comfort during the Yatra. Digital initiatives like QR codes send the message that the government is balancing religion, culture, and public convenience by using technology.
