Delhi: On Thursday (August 7), Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal, considering Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's claim of 'large-scale electoral fraud' to be serious, said that he has done a great service by bringing the truth before the country. Sibal demanded a comprehensive investigation into the issue and said that if anyone's involvement is proven in this alleged manipulation, their citizenship should be revoked.
Allegations of Electoral Malpractice in Several States
According to Kapil Sibal, Rahul Gandhi has revealed shocking facts about the manipulation that took place in a constituency in Karnataka. He says that this matter is not limited to just one area, but points to large-scale electoral fraud across the country. He alleged that votes have been rigged in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi and Bihar, which indicates an organised conspiracy.

Sibal said that the facts that Rahul Gandhi has presented before the public are extremely important for protecting democracy. Describing this step as courageous and important in the national interest, he said that only a true patriot can do this. According to Sibal, now it is the responsibility of the concerned institutions to investigate the matter, bring out the truth and take strict action against the culprits.
