Religious Dispute Erupts in Karimnagar Over Alleged Conversion Attempts

On Sunday morning, locals in the Karimnagar area alleged that some individuals lured poor families to a religious site by promising to "cure their illnesses" and attempted to convert them there. This ignited a dispute and created a tense atmosphere. Upon receiving information, the police arrived at the scene and controlled the situation.

Upon learning of the incident, SP Jitendra Kumar Srivastava from the North Zone personally visited the location to monitor the situation. The police are investigating the matter, and preliminary findings have not confirmed any forced conversions or conversions through enticement.

The police have also clarified that surveillance at religious sites will continue to preemptively prevent any misleading information or rumors. The administration has appealed to all communities to maintain restraint and avoid the spread of any disputes.
