In the video, Yogendra Rana spoke about marrying Samajwadi Party MP Iqra Hasan from Kairana and also targeted AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother Akbaruddin Owaisi. He commented that "it would be nice when Owaisi calls me brother-in-law." This statement went viral on the internet and caused widespread criticism.
Woman files complaint, police register case
After the video went viral, a woman named Sunita from the Katghar police station area of Moradabad filed a complaint in this matter. She said that such comments are against the dignity of women and send the wrong message in society. On this, the police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Rana under sections 67 and 79 of the IT Act, and section 354(2) of the IPC (attempt to insult the dignity of a woman).
Yogendra Rana is absconding, mobile also switched off
Yogendra Rana has been missing since the FIR was registered. His mobile phone is also switched off, making it difficult for the police to trace his location. The police are conducting raids in various districts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. No clues have been found so far, but police officers are hoping that he will be arrested soon.

SP City of Moradabad, Ranvijay Singh, said that the remarks made by Rana are of a serious nature. As the investigation progresses, strict action will be taken based on the evidence. The veracity of the video and its technical aspects are also being investigated.
