In the Khairthal town of Alwar district, armed masked individuals robbed Dataram Gurjar, the accountant of Shyam Industries, of approximately two and a half lakh rupees in broad daylight outside the new grain market on Monday morning. Dataram was returning to the market after withdrawing money from the bank when two criminals riding an expensive racing bike suddenly appeared in front of him. The criminals pointed a pistol and snatched the bag filled with money and fled on the bike while wearing helmets. The entire incident took place in a matter of seconds.
Fear Prevails in the Market
Following this incident, there is a stir in the Khairthal market. Traders are in a state of panic and it is difficult to identify the criminals because they had completely covered their faces with masks. The police have reached the spot and started an investigation and are working hard to arrest the culprits.
Police Intensifies Blockade and Investigation
Upon receiving information about the incident, Khairthal police station officer Rakesh Kumar Meena immediately reached the spot and started scrutinizing the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby. Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar Chaudhary has issued orders for a blockade throughout the district to apprehend the criminals. The police are engaged in the investigation and are making every possible effort to identify the accused.
Traders Demand Tight Security
A climate of fear has been created in the market area after the robbery. Traders, including market president Sarvesh Gupta, met with the District Collector and Superintendent of Police and demanded the early arrest of the accused and the tightening of security arrangements in the market. The traders said that it would be difficult to work until strict security arrangements are in place.
